Play for your town. But, if your town doesn’t have a Legion team, or you don’t make your closest team, you may be eligible to play for another team!
Questions? manager@sharonlegionbaseball.org
Sharon Legion Baseball fields two teams: a Junior team (U17) and a Senior team (U19). Each roster can carry up to 18 players. While much of our roster comes from Sharon, American Legion rules allow qualified players from other towns to join us. This applies to players who live in a town without a Legion team, or players who try out for their closest teams first and don’t earn a roster spot.
There are many teams in the area. Read on to find out which try-outs you should attend.
Why Legion?
Legion ball is competitive, meaningful baseball. High-level seasonal play, 18 games, playoffs, leadership & character focus, and a strong college recruiting reputation.
